Interested in representing the Arts and Science student body? Run in ASUS Elections this FAll!

The Arts & Science Undergraduate Society holds two main election seasons each year; one in the fall semester and another in the winter semester. During these periods, many of the student representatives for ASUS, the Senate and the AMS are elected, along with the President and Vice-President of ASUS.

How to Run:

Please fill out the nominations package here before October 11th at 5PM.

You must attend the All Candidate’s Meeting, or email Imran Bayoumi, the ASUS Chief Returning Officer at Time & Location of the All Candidate’s Meeting is TBA.

Fall Election Timeline:

October 2nd 09:00 – October 11th 17:00 – Nomination Period

October 11th 17:00 – October 13th 24:00 – Verification Period

October 14th 00:00 – October 21st 20:00 – Campaign Period

October 22nd and 23rd – Voting Days

All Arts and Science, Concurrent Education, PHEKIN and Computing students are eligible to participate, provided they have paid the ASUS Society fee.

The elections timeline follows four periods, the Nomination Period, the Verification Period, the Campaign Period and the Voting Days. All students interested in running for a position must complete & submit a nomination package prior to the end of the Nomination Period. Following the verification of one’s candidacy, campaigning extends for about a week (absolutely no campaign is allowed outside of this period). After the Campaign Period, all ASUS Members will receive an email to cast their vote online.
